It is designed to be clear, fair, and transparent, and should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions.

1. Policy Overview

ELUR operates a limited fleet of bespoke electric campervans.
Cancellations and changes directly affect vehicle availability, scheduling, and operational planning.

This policy balances flexibility for guests with fairness across all bookings.

2. Cooling-Off Period

Where required by Australian Consumer Law, eligible customers may be entitled to a statutory cooling-off period.

Outside of any mandatory cooling-off rights, the cancellation terms below apply.

3. Cancellation by the Guest

3.1 Standard Cancellation Windows

Cancellation timeframes and applicable fees are clearly disclosed during the booking process and form part of your rental agreement.

These may vary depending on:

  • Seasonality
  • Length of booking
  • Lead time before departure

3.2 Non Refundable Amounts

Certain amounts may be non refundable, including:

  • Booking or administrative fees
  • Deposits specified as non refundable at the time of booking

4. Booking Changes

4.1 Date or Booking Amendments

Requests to change booking dates or details are subject to:

  • Vehicle availability
  • Operational constraints

Changes may incur a fee and price differences may apply.

4.2 Substitutions

Guest substitutions are not permitted without prior written approval from ELUR.

5. Refunds

5.1 Approved Refunds

Where a refund is approved:

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method
  • Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution

5.2 Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may apply where:

  • A booking is shortened after commencement
  • The vehicle is returned early for reasons not attributable to ELUR

6. Cancellation by ELUR

ELUR reserves the right to cancel a booking in limited circumstances, including:

  • Vehicle unavailability due to safety or mechanical issues
  • Events beyond reasonable control
  • Breach of rental terms

If ELUR cancels your booking, you will be offered:

  • A full refund, or
  • An alternative booking if and where available

7. Travel Disruption and Personal Circumstances

ELUR is not responsible for cancellations arising from:

  • Changes in personal circumstances
  • Travel delays unrelated to the vehicle
  • Weather conditions affecting travel plans

For this reason, we strongly recommend obtaining personal travel insurance to cover cancellation or interruption.

8. No Shows and Late Cancellations

Failure to:

  • Collect the vehicle at the agreed time, or
  • Cancel within the applicable timeframe

will result in forfeiture of some or all booking payments.

9. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

Where services are not provided with due care and skill, you may be entitled to remedies as required by law.

10. Relationship to Other Policies
